Annual Fundraising Activities
Papa John's Day for Kilgour School: On the 1st Wednesday of every month proceeds from the Hyde Park Papa Johns location will be donated to Kilgour. The Hyde Park location is located at 3346 Erie Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45208 and can be reached at (513) 321-3233 or at www.papajohns.com. This propmotion runs through May, 2014.
Appearance Plus Cleaners Fundraiser: For every $20.00 spent, Appearance Plus Cleaners, located at 3505 Erive Avenue, will donate $1.00 back to Kilgour! This fundraiser will go through the end of May 2014. When you drop off or pick up your drycleaning, just mention the Kilgour fundraiser - it's that easy!
Entertainment Books. This is our first fundraiser of the year, taking place in September. Each child will receive a book to either sell or return.
Take your family out to eat nights. Periodically during the year, Kilgour will host events at local restaurants such as City Barbeque, Noodles and Co, Max & Erma’s, Don Pablos, TGIFridays and others. Information about these events will be sent home in Tuesday envelopes and the Synopsis.
Silent Auction: This evening adults-only silent auction event has recently been added to our fundraising efforts. This auction takes the place of the one formerly at the Carnival in hopes of involving current families, alumni, and community leaders. The silent auction event features great music, auction items and great camaraderie among the Kilgour parents, teachers and alumni community. The event is held in November, and has become the PTA's largest fundraiser.
Kilgour Carnival, Raffle and 5K Run/Walk. Fun for the entire family and community, the Carnival is a one day event which includes great games, rides, food and a wonderful raffle. The 5K Run/Walk typically takes place the night before the Carnival and is open to both Kilgour and non-Kilgour participants. Students and families are asked to help by selling raffle tickets and working at the Carnival or Race.
Spring Flower Sale. Order beautiful spring flowers and support our school.
Kroger Cards. A percentage of your purchase goes back to the Kilgour PTA every time you (re)load your card. You can obtain your card from the PTA.
Box Tops for Education. Clip and save Box Tops for Education. Turn them in to the school and the PTA will receive 10 cents per Box Top. A great way to support the school without costing you anything!
