The Kilgour PTA is a volunteer group made up of parents, teachers and interested community members. The group raises funds through the annual Silent Auction, Kilgour Carnival, Entertainment Book sales, and other programs to provide financial support to enhance the students’ education.
The PTA provides funding to help support the Welcome Back to School Picnic, purchase of computer equipment, field trips, financial support to teachers for the purchase of supplies, publishing of the school newsletter, assisting with the upkeep of buildings and grounds, supporting school clubs, assemblies, sixth grade graduation ceremony, etc.
PTA also organizes volunteers to help in a number of different, critical capacities at the school. Kilgour parents and teachers volunteer their time to help support the various fundraising activities as well.
Meetings are held in the Kilgour Library on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. Please check the calendar or the Synopsis for schedule changes.
